Soft gingerbread with Antesite Licorice Tangerine Bergamot

A comforting gingerbread with winter flavors, revisited with a subtle touch of Antésite Licorice Tangerine Bergamot!

Recipe for a cake

Ingredients:

  • 250 g wholemeal flour
  • 1 sachet baking powder
  • 100 g liquid honey
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon Antesite Licorice Tangerine Bergamot
  • 200 ml milk
  • 80 g melted butter
  • 1 egg

Recipe instructions :

  • Preheat oven to 160°C (fan oven). Butter and lightly flour your cake tin.
  • Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar and spices in a large bowl.
  • In another bowl, whisk the warmed milk with the honey, melted butter and Antesite. Then add the beaten egg.
  • Gradually add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients, mixing until smooth and homogeneous.
  • Pour the batter into the tin and bake for around 45-50 minutes, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool before unmolding.
